Who We Are
Jibantala Nabajagaran (জীবনতলা নবজাগরণ) — meaning "Renaissance of Jibantala" — was founded in 2012 by a group of spirited young men and women in the Jibantala area of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
Our tagline, Humanity Over Anything, is not just a motto — it is our operating principle. No politics, no religion, no discrimination — only the deep belief that every human being deserves dignity, care, and opportunity.
Today, we operate across multiple districts with over 500 members, a dedicated volunteer force, and partnerships with local government bodies, schools, hospitals, and national organizations.

What We Do
Blood Donation Drives
We organize 4–6 blood donation camps annually, collecting thousands of units that save lives across regional hospitals.
Environmental Action
Tree plantations, river clean-up drives, and school-based green awareness programs building a sustainable future.
Education Support
Free coaching, school supply distribution, scholarship guidance, and digital literacy camps for rural youth.
Disaster Relief
Rapid response teams deployed during floods, cyclones, and other crises — distributing food, clothing, and essentials.
Health Camps
Free medical check-ups, eye camps, and health awareness sessions in underserved villages and slum areas.
Women Empowerment
Vocational training, self-help group support, and awareness programs empowering women to lead independent lives.
Our Journey
The Beginning
Founded by 12 youth volunteers after a local flood relief effort. Jibantala Nabajagaran registered as an NGO.
First Blood Camp
Launched our first blood donation camp. Over 80 units collected, kickstarting an annual tradition.
Education Initiative
Opened our first free coaching center for underprivileged students preparing for board exams.
COVID Response
Mobilized 200+ volunteers for COVID relief — distributing 10,000+ food kits and PPE across 15 villages.
Amphan Recovery
Cyclone Amphan relief operations helping 5,000+ affected families rebuild their homes and lives.
